The Superintendent Lara Arias and all the greenkeeping team, did a spectacular job preparing the course with outstanding conditions. This has been undoubtedly a great test, ahead of the 2023 Italian Ryder Cup.

A group of 28 volunteers arrived from different parts of Europe, in order to help with the preparation of the course. A very rich multicultural experience with people coming from different backgrounds and different languages.

About the course of the tournament, we can definitely say that it was very exciting until the last minute. Nicolai Hojgaard was the winner with a narrow one shot victory, playing with Tommy Fleetwood to decide until the last hole.

This was an important test, as Marco Simone Golf&Country Club, was closed for renovation during last year. We cannot wait to see, all the improvements that Marco Simone Golf&Country Club have prepared.
